These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Ascent AI app. By using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Ascent AI provides fitness tracking, meal and workout logging, and an AI coach that offers general fitness and nutrition information. The coach can make mistakes and its output is not medical, dietary, or professional advice. You are responsible for how you act on it and should consult a qualified professional for medical or health decisions.
You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your region) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device secure.
Some features require an auto-renewable subscription ("Plus"). Price and duration are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.
You agree not to misuse the app: no unlawful use, no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service, and no use of the AI coach to generate harmful or abusive content. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that abuse the service.
You retain rights to the content you submit. You grant us the limited right to process it to operate the app (including sending it to the AI provider described in our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the content you submit.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the app or its AI coach.
We may update these Terms or the app, and may suspend or discontinue features. Material changes will be noted in the app. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
